Conservation, stabilization and protection of three 17th-century fireplace ruins to preserve their historical integrity at one of Canada's most significant National Historic Sites. Hands-on conservation across a 7-month engagement, addressing complex previous interventions and the scarcity of replacement stone with minimum-intervention design.
